The new year has arrived, a renewed power structure push for global conflict has come with it. Each passing day on our planet is increasingly best described as groundhog day in a global asylum. Unprecedented wildfires in Australia are incinerating millions of acres and still growing with no end in sight. How bad can it get? How bad will the Northern Hemisphere fires be once summer returns? The more ominous the horizon becomes, the deeper into denial the majority of the population goes. Will a turning point come? Will unfolding conditions soon become so horrific that a wake-up in the population is finally triggered? Will the US continue to pour the majority of its GDP (Gross Domestic Product) into making weapons of mass destruction? Even as the biosphere implodes from all directions? Is it already too late? Or is there still time to salvage some part of Earth's remaining life support systems? The latest issue of Global Alert News is below. As the warning alarms increasingly go off around the world, how many are willing to put all the effort and energy they can spare into the critical effort to alter our current course?

The certification is one more step in that direction. From the experience I have, the vendor-specific exams tend to have questions that are there just to show you how great their product is, for example: "what can this product do? A: something
B: another thing
C: awesome things
D: all of the above" The answer is obviously D, and now you have a certificate on that product, congratulations:). Since this is vendor-neutral, the exam is a lot more directed to see what the user does to solve a specific problem, there is no selling material, the person taking the exam needs to really understand the problem and solve it in a good and quick way. and that for me is a lot more entertaining:). Justin Dennison, Edutainer at ITProTV, says that completing tasks, instead of answering questions, was closer to a real development environment:
I enjoyed the test-taking experience as it was the first exam that I had taken that was simulated and practical in nature. Instead of answering multiple-choice questions (or any of the other types), I thought that completing the tasks was more akin to my experience in a development environment.
"In the hands of Lynsey Miller, the legend of this formidable queen and fierce mother will be seen as a deeply human story that is still so relevant for today. I look forward to bringing my heart and spirit into this daring retelling of the fall of this iconic woman. " The series focuses on Anne Boleyn's final months before she was beheaded by Henry in 1536 for failing to produce a male heir

It's the first time in history a black actress has taken on the role of Anne Boleyn. Though most actresses who have portrayed Anne on TV in the past were white, Anglo-Indian actress Merle Oberon took on the role of Anne in Alexander Korda's 1933 film The Private Life of Henry VIII. The actress - who said she was Australian at the time in a bid to avoid prejudice - was nicknamed "Queenie" in honour of Queen Mary and King George V's visit to India in 1911.
No matter what others do or don't do, each of us are only responsible for ourselves and what we do with our own free will. All are needed in the critical battle to wake populations to what is unfolding, we must make every day count. DW

The star, 34, has been cast as the first black actress to play Henry VIII's second wife in a bid to "challenge conventions". The snap shows the Queen & Slim actress pose in her traditional Tudor gown and headpiece ahead of the three-part psychological drama by Fable Pictures, Channel 5 and Sony Pictures Television. The series is told from the queen's point of view and focuses on her final months before she was beheaded by Henry in 1536 for failing to produce a male heir. Jodie Turner-Smith looks incredible as Anne Boleyn in the first official picture
The mother-of-one - who welcomed a daughter with actor husband Joshua Jackson last year - looked sensational in the official image as she displayed a serious exterior as Anne.
The industry is mature and there is more demand for Node skills than there are qualified developers. OpenJS Node certifications create new opportunities for developers, and are an excellent way to improve your resume, and more quickly move to projects and jobs that are higher-paying and more fulfilling. We asked a group of developers who took at least one of the certifications in the past three months about their experiences. Two major themes stand out. Yes, money is important, but effectively testing your own skills is important, too A vendor-neutral certification is better and the OpenJS format really challenges you
Nikita Galkin, Independent Contractor, JSFest Program Committee Member, Software Engineer, System Architect, Tech Speaker, GraphQL Advocate, talked about standing out:
Remote work in the global world has high competition between developers. With a certificate, you are more likely to receive an invitation to the job interview. I received an offer for an interesting remote project with a good salary at the start of this year.
You Told Us: OpenJS Node Certification helps you stand out - OpenJS Foundation
The testing was thorough for as a whole. I feel that vendor-neutral testing allows for an alternative perspective to testing as well as a means to gather community driven requirements. I took the certification to validate my own understanding and learning. I had been developing using and teaching for several years. However, as always, there are times that you will question yourself, "Do I really know or understand what is going on? " Knowing that I was given tasks to complete and was able to complete those task using was a nice confirmation of my knowledge. Amir Elemam, Independent Contractor, liked the format of the test excellent, it resulted in more interesting relationships and projects at work:
The coding labs exam format was totally new for me. On the one hand it was harder because if I wasn't pretty sure about something, to a point where I would know what to search for, there was no way to even try the question, but on the other hand, I was able to test the code I was writing, so in the end I had a very good sense about my performance, that's good because the results don't come out by end of the exam, as it happens with other certification exams I've taken.

Written by Eve Hedderwick Turner and directed by Lynsey Miller, the series aims to challenge "all the conventions of who we think Anne Boleyn was and shines a feminist light on her story". "We're absolutely thrilled to have the magnetic Jodie Turner-Smith on board to encapsulate Anne's determination to be an equal among men and to pave a path for her daughter, " Fable Pictures added. "We feel that history has side-lined the voice of this ambitious Queen in favour of the men who brought her down, and that Lynsey Miller's beautiful, intimate vision will put Anne's gaze at the heart of the piece. " Ben Frow, director of programs at ViacomCBS, added: "This project re-frames her story as a propulsive psychological thriller, told from a new perspective, with top talent like Jodie Turner-Smith attached. "It was simply too irresistible to say no to and I'm very excited to see the finished product. " Director Lynsey previously defended the decision to cast a black actress for the role - as Anne was a white woman.
Following her portrayal of the royal, only white actresses have since taken on the role before Jodie was finally cast. The Crown star Claire Foy was cast as Anne in 2009 for the BBC's £7 million series Wolf Hall
